Capcom has released multiplayer Resi game, Resident Evil Mercenaries VS onto the App Store for £1.79/$2.99.

The game is basically the Mercenaries mini game from the console outings, but you can play 1v1 or 2v2 matches against other players online.

So far there are only three playable characters (Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Albert Wesker), and only three maps to choose from. These are Dock, Fort and Castle.

There's not too much available, but knowing Capcom there will be updates.
